Jackie Walorski, Congresswoman

Dear Indiana Republican Party Convention Delegate,

I am honored to announce my endorsement of Curtis Hill to be Indiana’s next Attorney General and I ask that you join me in supporting his candidacy at the Indiana Republican Party State Convention.

I knew it back when Curtis helped me launch my first race for state representative that he had a unique ability to lead and a unique desire to help. That’s seen in how he conducts his life and how he has conducted himself as Elkhart County Prosecutor.

In four terms as prosecutor, Curtis has consistently worked to protect and defend Hoosiers. He has stood for freedom, fought for families and inspired those around him – including me.

I know that as our next Attorney General he will continue to do the same, just from a different stage. He will be a partner to those of us representing Hoosiers in Washington, D.C. who want to put a stop to the overreaching hand of the federal government as much as Curtis does.

We need an Attorney General like Curtis Hill, someone who understands what it means to have the courage to lead and who takes seriously the responsibility to protect. I hope you’ll join me in supporting him at this year’s convention and again in November.

Sincerely,

Jackie

Mark Wynn, 6th District GOP Chair

Fellow 6th District Delegates,

As you know, this weekend is the Indiana Republican State Convention. With that in mind, I wanted to let you know why I am supporting Curtis Hill to be Indiana’s next Attorney General.

Curtis has been a strong prosecutor in Elkhart County and has been a leader at the local, state and national levels. I know this because he has the respect of many of the elected county prosecutors right here in our own Congressional District and they are his most diehard supporters.

Curtis has the courage to stand up to an overreaching federal government. He will protect Hoosiers from fraud and victimization, fight against the scourge of drugs and related crime in our communities, and will create innovative programs to prevent Hoosier youth from taking pathways that end up in a life of crime or substance abuse.

I hope you will join me in supporting Curtis by clicking here!

I hope to see you this weekend at Convention!

Mayor Blair Milo, City of La Porte

Fellow Delegates,

With the Indiana Republican Party State Convention rapidly approaching, I wanted to let you know why I am supporting Curtis Hill to be Indiana’s next Attorney General.

Curtis and I met at the very beginning of this campaign. When we met, he explained his vision for the Attorney General’s office and I liked what I heard. He has the courage to stand up to an overreaching federal government. He will protect Hoosiers from fraud and victimization, fight against the scourge of drugs and related crime in our communities, and will create innovative programs to prevent Hoosier youth from taking pathways that end up in a life of crime or substance abuse.

Curtis has a record of success leading an office, has been a strong prosecutor in Elkhart County and has been a leader at the local, state and national levels.

I hope you will join me in supporting his campaign by clicking here to let us know you stand with Curtis and want him to be our next Attorney General.

See you at the Convention!

Thank you,

Mayor Blair

Will Statom, Delaware County GOP Chair

Fellow Delegates,

As a county chairman and delegate, I take my decision on who to support in convention races very seriously. In the campaign for Attorney General, we are presented with four great choices to beat the Democrats this fall. But as we approach this weekend’s Indiana Republican State Convention, I keep coming back to one candidate that stands out among the rest— Curtis Hill.

For me, there are many reasons to confidently cast my vote for Curtis. He represents new, fresh leadership that our party needs and deserves. He has an unprecedented enthusiasm to take on the challenges that the Attorney General faces on a daily basis. He has taken these challenges on face-to-face at the local level as a Prosecutor of one of Indiana’s largest counties. In short, he’s the right person at the right time.

A few weeks ago when President Obama was claiming victory in Curtis’ hometown of Elkhart, Curtis did not back down.  As Attorney General, he will do the same by standing up to the invasive federal government. He has also vowed to protect Hoosiers from fraud and victimization, fight against the scourge of drugs and related crime in our communities, and will create innovative programs to prevent Hoosier youth from taking pathways that end up in a life of crime or substance abuse.

I know you take your decision very seriously as well. I hope that you will join me in supporting Curtis to be our Attorney General.

See you this weekend!

Will

Dr. Deborah Fleming, 2nd District GOP Chair

Dear Fellow Republican,

It is with great pleasure that I write you regarding my wholehearted endorsement of my friend and colleague Curtis Hill for Indiana Attorney General.

To me, Curtis represents the strength in leadership that we need to fight government overreach, drugs, crime and consumer victimization, and put into place programs that will help lead our youth down the right track to be productive citizens and people.

Furthermore, the Republican Party needs a new level of forward-thinking leadership that will bring us back to statesmanship and integrity in preserving our Constitution.

Seeing Curtis’s work first hand in Northern Indiana, I am fully committed to him and his campaign. I know he will represent our region and our state well as Indiana’s next Attorney General.

Please join me and vote for Curtis at the Indiana Republican Party State Convention to assure the safety and freedom of our great state!

Warmly,

Deborah

Dr. Deborah Fleming
2nd District Chair

Aaron Negangard, Prosecutor for Dearborn and Ohio County

Dear Delegate:

I am the Prosecutor for Dearborn and Ohio County. I have been a prosecutor since 1997 and have had the opportunity to serve with Curtis on the boards of the Indiana Prosecuting Attorney’s Council and the Association of Indiana Prosecuting Attorney’s Council.  As past Chairman and President of both these organizations, I am writing you today to ask you to support Curtis Hill for Attorney General.  He is uniquely qualified to be our next Attorney General.

Curtis Hill is the only candidate who is an experienced prosecutor who has tried hundreds of cases involving murder, child molestation, and other violent crimes -- and has efficiently run a prosecutor’s office from one of the largest counties in the State.  Attributed to his leadership, he had served at both the State and National level for a number of criminal justice organizations. No other candidate has these qualifications and management experience.

Many people do not know the huge obstacles he had to overcome when he first took office. He had to turn an office comprised of all part-time prosecutors (without adequate resources and office space) to a full-time prosecutor’s office with full-time prosecutors and sufficient resources and space to appropriately serve the public.  Despite the many challenges he faced, he turned the office into one of the most highly respected offices in the State.

Curtis Hill has served as a leader for Indiana’s prosecutors.  In that role, I have worked with Curtis to stand for the interests of Hoosiers and the public safety community by engaging in the legislative process with our legislators in the General Assembly.  We educated, we tried to persuade, and sometimes we had to draw a hard line -- but I watched Curtis stand for his beliefs -- even when doing so might have had consequences for him personally.  He didn’t always do what was popular, but he always did what was right.  That is the type of courageous and bold leadership we need in Indianapolis!

That is type of leadership we need to defend Indiana from Federal overreach and violations of the 10th Amendment by the Obama Administration.  Curtis Hill was the first candidate to announce he was running for Attorney General and the first candidate to raise this issue. He is the only candidate with the courage, experience and skills to follow through on the promise to defend the rights of Hoosiers from Federal overreach.

Curtis Hill has a courageous and bold new vision for the Indiana Attorney General’s Office. A vision that will protect the freedom and safety of our fellow Hoosiers.  I encourage all of you to support Curtis Hill to be Indiana’s next Attorney General.

Sincerely,

Aaron

Aaron Negangard,
Prosecutor for Dearborn and Ohio County

Russ Willis, Madison County Chair

Fellow Delegates,

As you know the Indiana Republican State Convention is this weekend in Indianapolis. There, as delegates, we will help select a nominee for Attorney General who will have unbending courage in the face of the overreaching federal government, Curtis Hill.

Curtis will fight to protect Hoosiers from fraud and victimization and the epidemics of drugs and related crime across Indiana.

Curtis has also developed several innovative ideas and programs to prevent Hoosier youth from taking pathways that end up in a life of crime or substance abuse.

Curtis has gone the extra mile in Madison County and our surrounding region too. Throughout the campaign he has reached out to us through our Lincoln Day Dinners, mail, and spontaneous lunch dates with our delegates.

I want him to be our next Attorney General and I hope you will join me in supporting his campaign at next weekend’s Convention! But before you get to Indianapolis, click here to let us know you stand with Curt.

Russ

Russ Willis
Madison County Republican Party Chairman

Mayor Tim Neese, City of Elkhart

Indiana Republican Party Delegates,

I write you today as not just the Mayor of Elkhart, but as someone who has known Curtis Hill personally for many years. From my every interaction with Curtis, I can tell you with confidence that he is ready to be Indiana's Attorney General and that he will conduct himself with integrity
in the office, if elected.

I'm not the only one in this county who feels that way. Time and time again, the voters of Elkhart County have overwhelmingly selected Curtis as their prosecuting attorney. They have done so because he runs the office
effectively and is always in pursuit of justice. I have to tell you, though, we would hate to lose him here in Elkhart. But it would be in the best interest of the Indiana Republican Party, and its delegates and millions of voters, and most importantly, the State of Indiana, to nominate and elect Curtis Hill.

I ask that you join me in supporting Curtis Hill for Attorney General at this weekend's Indiana Republican Party State Convention. Elkhart County is proud to have elected him our prosecutor, and I assure you will be proud to elect him your Attorney General.

Mayor Tim

Lynn Deddens, Dearborn County GOP Chair

Fellow Delegates,

As you know, the Indiana Republican State Convention is quickly approaching.  With that being said, I want to let you know that I will be proudly casting my ballot for Elkhart County Prosecutor Curtis Hill to be Indiana’s next Attorney General.

I have known Curtis for many years through our capacities as prosecuting attorneys. Curtis earned my respect for the way he approaches and handles difficult cases in one of Indiana’s largest counties. Not only is Curtis held in high esteem by the citizens of Elkhart County, he also has earned the respect of his fellow Indiana prosecuting attorneys.  His life and career experiences have prepared him for the challenges he will face in the Attorney General’s Office.

The law is only one aspect of Curtis Hill.  He is a man of faith, a devoted family man and is actively involved in his community.  If selected to represent the Republican Party in the November election, Curtis will continue the fight to protect and serve Hoosiers.

Please join me in supporting Curtis Hill to be Indiana’s next Attorney General.

Very truly yours,

Lynn

Lynn M. Deddens

Matt Boyd, Whitley County GOP Chair

Fellow Northeast Indiana Delegates,

Believe it or not, the Indiana Republican State Convention is upon us! Today I want to inform you that I will be proudly voting for Elkhart County Prosecutor Curtis Hill when we cast our ballots on Saturday for Attorney General.

Curtis has gone the extra mile here in Northeast Indiana and throughout the state by making calls, making time for random visits with delegates, writing letters, and attending as many GOP events as humanly possible. More importantly than his extensive outreach to our region is that Curtis is the most committed candidate in this race to our Constitution. He does not just talk about fighting for the Constitution he has the courage to dig in against the invasive federal government.

Last week when President Obama visited Curtis’ hometown of Elkhart to claim victory for his Administration’s policies, Curtis was the only candidate for Attorney General who had the courage to say what we all know. Elkhart and Indiana’s comeback had nothing to do with President Obama’s agenda. In fact, our comeback has happened in spite of his burdensome overreach. With President Obama’s time in office coming to a close, we need an Attorney who will stand up to Hillary Clinton if she somehow is elected president. I know that Curtis will do just that.

I hope to see you in Indianapolis this weekend and ask that you join me in supporting Curtis Hill to be Indiana’s Attorney General.

Thank you,

Matt

Matt Boyd
Whitley County GOP Chair

Mike Gonder, LaPorte County Chairman

Delegates of Northwest Indiana,

It is clear that we will have some very important choices to make yet again this year at the Indiana Republican State Convention. I have done a lot of thinking about the race for Attorney General in particular and it is clear to me that one candidate stands above the rest. Curtis Hill has the experience to be our Attorney General and he is laser focused on the right objectives to serve all Hoosiers in office.

For the last 14 years, Curtis has effectively run the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office in Elkhart, one of Indiana’s largest counties. In that role, he has come to earn the respect and admiration of his peers for the way he  handles difficult cases and the unique issues presented at the local level. This respect and admiration from his peers has translated into endorsements from over 40 elected Prosecuting Attorneys around the state. We need someone that can bring people together like Curtis has, with the experience that Curtis has gained.

The ability to lead does not mean much without a vision and Curtis presents that as well. He knows the Attorney General must proactively fend off intrusions of the federal government. He is enthusiastic about finding solutions to problems like fraud and scams, ways to relieve the epidemics of drugs and crime, and providing our youth with a different path than one that would lead to a life of substance abuse and crime.

Curtis is the right candidate at the right time. I will proudly be casting my ballots for Curtis Hill this Saturday and I encourage you to as well.

Mike

LaPorte County Chairman

Lana Keesling of City of Fort Wayne

Fellow Republicans,

With the Indiana Republican Party State Convention rapidly approaching, I wanted to let you know I will be supporting Curtis Hill to be Indiana’s next Attorney General.

When we met several weeks ago, I immediately saw in Curtis a leader with vision as he communicated his desire to serve Hoosiers and how his experience as Elkhart County Prosecutor has prepared him to be our Attorney General.

Curtis has the courage to stand up to an overreaching federal government. He will protect Hoosiers from fraud and victimization, fight against the scourge of drugs and related crime in our communities, and will create innovative programs to prevent Hoosier youth from taking pathways that end up in a life of substance abuse.

He is an exceptional leader already, and I know he will continue to be an exceptional leader as Attorney General. I hope you will join me in supporting his campaign by clicking here to let us know you stand with Curtis.

See you at the Convention!

Jon Costas, Mayor of Valparaiso

Fellow Delegates,

There are four outstanding candidates vying for the Republican nomination for Indiana Attorney General at this weekend’s convention, but our party’s future calls out for Curtis Hill.

I am supporting Curtis Hill because as Elkhart County Prosecutor, he has worked each and every day to protect the citizens of his county against frauds and scams and the scourge of drugs and violent crime. He has also committed himself and his office, if elected, to standing up for our state’s rights against the overreaching federal government. And I know he means it.

He will be a Republican nominee we can be proud to call our own. He will be an outstanding Attorney General and he will be an outstanding teammate for our Republican ticket in November.

We need someone of Curtis’s caliber to work and to win. I hope you’ll join me in supporting him as our nominee on Saturday. If you haven’t already, you can take the first step in joining the team by clicking here to let us know you’re on board with Curtis.

Sincerely,

Mayor Jon

Todd Meyer, Boone County Prosecutor

Fellow Delegates,

With our Indiana Republican State Convention approaching this weekend, I wanted to quickly tell you who I will casting my ballot for— Curtis Hill.

As a fellow prosecutor, I have gotten to know Curtis personally and know him to be a man of strong conviction, integrity and competence.  As a prosecutor, I know how important it is to have someone at the helm in the Attorney General’s Office who has a working knowledge of the criminal justice system and how the work the Attorney General does on a daily basis directly impacts the local communities throughout the State of Indiana.  I have every faith and confidence in Curtis and know he will be an excellent Attorney General for the people of Indiana.

I look forward to seeing you there and hope you will join me in supporting Curtis for Attorney General.

Sincerely,

Todd

Indiana FOP Tour Statement by Curtis

"I want to thank the Fraternal Order of Police for their endorsement. Having served as a deputy prosecutor and an elected prosecutor in Elkhart County for almost 3 decades, I know the work of law enforcement because I am in law enforcement. I have worked alongside and will continue to stand with police and detectives against all threats to public safety.

"I stand with law enforcement because I understand that a person cannot be free if they are not safe. The people who put their lives on the line every day to protect us need elected officials who appreciate their hard work and sacrifice. I do.

"The Philadelphia FOP was right in their outrage when the DNC failed to honor the widows and family members of fallen police officers killed in the line of duty. I am outraged by the lack of respect and appreciation for law enforcement and family sacrifice.

"As a Prosecutor, I understand that each area in the State faces its own challenges and as your Attorney General I will seek to ensure that the law enforcement community has the tools, resources and training needed to protect the citizens of this State.

"I know the hard work that goes into getting a conviction. I will fulfill the responsibility of the office of Attorney General to protect the convictions that you work so hard to obtain.

"As your Attorney General I will provide bold and courageous leadership on behalf of law enforcement and the citizens of this State. Thank you for your support and together we will continue to protect the people of Indiana."

"I am proud to join others in endorsing Curtis for Attorney General. In the short time I have know Curtis he has demonstrated the qualities that I want the next Attorney General to possess."

“Even though we are from opposite ends of the state, Curtis and I have the common bond of working to protect Hoosiers and to solve issues facing our state. I support Curtis because I believe we need an Attorney General who has fought the epidemics of crime, drugs and fraud at the local level working to help us address those issues statewide.”

– Nick Hermann,

"Perhaps, the strength he would bring to the Office of Indiana Attorney, is matched only, by his strength of character. I have known Curtis Hill for more than three decades, and in fact, was privileged to be a partner in his aggressive approach to law enforcement and the innovations he brought to the Elkhart County community. I can think of no one more qualified, OR more ready to assume the leadership responsibilities of the Office of Indiana Attorney General."

"I endorse Curtis because of the work he has done in Elkhart County and the State of Indiana. "I have known Curtis Hill for many years. He was a deputy prosecutor for Elkhart County at the time. I am a former City Attorney for Mishawaka – all during Margaret Prickett's 16 years in office.  Since being the prosecutor for Elkhart county, he has been interviewed on television a number of times about pressing issues. I am hoping for your success."

Linda Chezem Endorses Curtis

A video message from Linda Chezem, Curtis Hill for Indiana Campaign Chairwoman.

"When I’m out stumping for Curtis on the campaign trail, I often get asked why he’s the best candidate for Attorney General. There couldn’t be an easier question to answer! Curtis has proven to his fellow prosecutors, and the voters that he has the knowledge, experience and skills needed to be a good Attorney General.  He will respect our rights under the United States Constitution and the Indiana Constitution.

For me, though, it comes down to one powerful word: trust. We can trust his leadership, trust his willingness to do the right thing and trust him to find solutions to some of the biggest problems facing Indiana.

There is no one I would rather have in the Attorney General’s office to face these issues head-on than Curtis Hill. He will stand up to our overreaching federal government, make sure Hoosiers are protected from instances of fraud, fight to rid our neighborhoods of drugs and crime and make sure young Hoosiers choose paths that take them far away from substance abuse.

I know we can trust him to get the job done because he’s done it as Elkhart County Prosecutor, and he’ll do it again as our Attorney General."
